General Studies degree information
The General Studies major requires 40 junior-senior level semester hours. A maximum of twenty-one hours may be earned in any one department.
General Education Requirements: 45 hours
- Major Degree Requirements: 40 hours in junior-senior level courses
- Optional Minor: 18-24 hours
- Electives (with optional minor): 15-21 hours
- Electives (without optional minor): 39 hours
- Total Degree Requirements: 124 hours
Note:
- A Maximum of 21 hours may be earned in any one department.
- Students are required to complete a minimum of 32 hours through HPU.
- A minimum of 12 advanced HPU hours must be earned in the student’s major.
